I'm trying to install mysql on Solaris, but I get this error:
ld.so.1: mysqld: fatal: libcrypt_i.so.1: open failed: No such file or
directory
I found this help text on mysql.com:
The problem can be avoided by one of the following methods:
- Link the client with the following flag (instead
of -Lpath): -Wl,r/full-path-to-libmysqlclient.so.
- Copy libmysqclient.so to `/usr/lib'.
- Add the pathname of the directory where libmysqlclient.so is located to
the LD_RUN_PATH environment variable before running your client.
But this doesn't do much good for mer.
How do I for example change the LD_RUN_PATH?
Any tips?
