1.4.1/PHP4 - it turns out that it was because there was a mysql.so module
defined in the PHP.ini file - and mysql support was build into either php4
or the midgard.so module.

There aren't any global Midgard... settings, and default type is
text/html. That said it's gone away, and I've no idea why. <twilight zone

BTW, in the end, I'd to manually change the sitegroups of all the users
and styles. For some reason, that repligard magic didn't work. I'd
forgotten that style elements had to have their sitegroups changed too.
That caused wierd problems :)
