CVS version of Repligard handles this: it installs repligard binary
with owner 'mysql' by default and suid to it (it doesn't allow to
have root as repligard owner for obvious security reasons). You have to
set 600 permissions and 'mysql' as owner for repligard.conf to be
(almost) fully secure.
