Midhoo does what you are saying. And it is good to use it for learning. I
learned much from it already! :-) Thanks for the code!

What about the MOVE project? I'm interested because if we do any
documentation for the standard navigation code snippets/elements, it would
be nice to see if there is any current project that it can be incorporated
into.
I just started putting some example navigation pages to see if I can work
through the code, and have included a few samples from midgard functions and
another code which Alan provided to the mail list recently. The pages, which
by the way, are a work in progress, can be found at:
http://www.accollarts.net/example/
(shows function mgd_get_topic & mgd_list_topics)
http://www.accollarts.net/example/example2/
(includes MOVE_SNIPPET_GET_ARTICLE, but does not work because I can't figure
it out :(

Works! Alan provided this code and is from the nadmin manual. I am hoping to
use it and break it down into sections [1]
http://www.accollarts.net/example/example4/
[1] Is the start of setting up topics menu on left and article navigation
across the bottom footer. It doesn't work because I have little knowledge of
programming it. I will eventually figure it out though. What would be real
nice is if one of you programmers either already have a simple code for it,
or if you would like to contribute it to this example.
My intent is to not only learn from this experience, but hopefully provide
some examples which midgard can incorporate into the manual so future
newbies like myself will have something to start with.
If anyone is interested in working on this mini project, please let me know.
I will set you up with a site admin account so we can all work together on
these examples. Please note that this is not going to be a time consuming
project. All I want to do is to have a set of standard navigation code with
documentation and examples that are for beginners to use as a learning tool
and to help them get started. The case here is to "keep it simple" OK?
