I'm not completly in favor of this feature, because blobs/attachments are not meant to
store *only* images, but any kind of binary content.
If you want the file/document size to be stored, no problem with that, because this is
a common attribute between blobs.
But if we begin to extend the blob record with image size, then we can also add the
number of pages for a pdf document, and the number of seconds of an mpeg movie, and so
on...
I admit the image size is a commonly used attribute, but not a common attributes, thus
can be stored in parameters (which are meant exactly for this BTW).
The discussion is open, though, this is only my own opinion ;)
