How we did it before:

Start with a clean database.....
import asgard from xml.gz
mysql midgard
update repligard set action='deleted';
repligard -c conf_file_with_allexport.conf -e deletedasgard.xmlgz

you can then use the deletedasgard.xmlgz as an import file to clean an
existing installation....


Here's one on the todo list for repligard -
repligard -t asgard.xml.gz  (-t = trash)
ARE YOU SURE YOU WANT TO DO THAT? (yes/no)
reads a standard import file and uses it to delete elements...
