Hi,
got it working by running "sed -e 's/changed=".*"/changed="20010309200000"/"
over Asgard-1.4.1.xml and importing it again. Now I've got my extra's...
But these stupid "e;, ä etc. are still alive in the title and
name fields. If I enter a title with umlauts, submit it and edit again
I get the corresponding html characters (perhaps via htmlentities()). If I
don't change it, submit and edit it again the "&" of the html character ist
substituted again by & and so on. If I edit it 10 times I will get
9 & and 1 time the rest of the html character - anyone understands
what I mean??? It's quite difficult to explain.
For my understanding these strings are converted by htmlentities() or
htmlspecialchars() where they should not.
As there are a lot of germans on this list and other europeans should have
the same problem: how do you handle this? btw. a simple double quote will
give the same problem.
As every time, any hints are welcome.
greetings,
ingo
