No, in general. It is planned for 2.0 branch. However, you could use
CacheContainer from PEAR (PHP4). On the other side, Midgard applications 
significantly benefit from caching of MySQL server. If your web-server
primarily works as Midgard-powered server, than most content for
articles, pages, styles, snippets, etc. will be cached by MySQL.
