Nadmin is generally easier to use, and functions using content
management schemantics, while Asgard functions as a generic
administration interface.

Also, Nadmin is in active maintenance. It also offers a nicer interface
for Windows-using content producers with the integrated FrontPage
Express DHTML editor for article creation.

There's a short datasheet on Nadmin at

The final release of 1.4.1 is not out yet. The current version is the
release candidate, which you can get from Midgard's CVS repository
(instructions at http://www.midgard-project.org/article/1000.html).

The Nightly Builds should also have a working 1.4.1-RC1 setup:

If updating to Midgard 1.4.1 and PHP4 is an issue, you can also use
Nadmin M2 with the regular Midgard 1.4 releases, or the 1.4.1-beta1.

You'll find Nadmin releases from http://midgard.hklc.com
