Do you use mysql module in Midgard-php and PHP4? Did they compiled
with the same libmysqlclient library (as well as Midgard library itself)?
I've seen this problem when midgard was compiled with libmysqlclient but
PHP4's mysql -- with libmysqlclient_r (multi threaded version).
If so, recompile all to use only one variant of libmysqlclient.
