If it is indeed libmysqlclient looking in the wrong place, a symlink should suffice. But get the change first (or insert it into your current source: http://cvs.midgard-project.org/midgard/lib/src/midgard.c.diff?r1=1.10&r2=1.11&sortby=date ) so we can see what exactly is the problem.
