Don't understand the purpose of the 2nd question, but just to
throw a number regarding the 1st one: One of our customer sites
has some 6,000 articles at the moment and is serving some 30,000
database-generated page impressions a month -- that's not much,
but was too much for a Pentium MMX w/ 64 MB of RAM ;-)

But I guess even http://www.midgard-project.org/ is seeing more
traffic ... ?
