Greetings!
The discussion about a German Midgard mailing list got me
thinking about the possibility of having local Midgard
user groups in countries where there are many Midgard
users, especially in countries where people don't really
know English that well.
As an online presence, the user group could have a small
sub-site as a part of the main Midgard site. This could
be in format of:
* Mailing list
* Some translated documents
* Listing of local Midgard people
* Listing of local Midgard companies
* Event calendar?
This could help new users to get into Midgard much more easily,
as they could have a source of information for getting local
help in their native language.
In addition, these user groups could be a good way of
arranging Midgard events, maybe local workshops, or even
wider seminars.
Is there interest for organizing these groups? If needed,
Nemein can provide some support for the user groups (MUGs?)
in the countries where we operate -- mainly Finland at this
point.
