Try removing php4-mysql and php4-xml. If they're linked against the 
internal API they are likely the cause of the segfaults. It's a known 
problem (with PHP). The best solution would be for PHP to offer 
extensions packages that are linked against the regular libs. I don't 
see this happening too soon, though.
