OK,
with the help of the great people on this list
I was able to get phpads to start displaying on my midgard
test site. I would give out the url but it is behind a fire wall.
My problem now is that that I am trying to build a phpAds in the
manner that the manual describes but i am running into problems.
Problem one
using this path:
Page: / Root page / phpAd / admin
Tha page contains the follwing code from the manual:
<? mgd_include_snippet("/hklc_phpAd/main"); ?>
I get 2 errors:
Warning: unable to parse url (http:///kerensky.idev.com/phpAds) in
snippet:///hklc_phpAd/kcsm on line 70
notice how there are 3 slashes in the uri of both http AND snippet. I don't see the
code that
might be adding the additional slash. Could mod_midgard be doing it?
The second error is probably being caused by some whitespace between include files.
Unless it is assumed that we should be using the new output buffer features of
php4:
Warning: Cannot add header information - headers already sent by (output started at
snippet:///hklc_phpAd/config.inc:71) in snippet:///hklc_phpAd/kcsm on line 75
