I did Midgard binaries for Linux Mandrake Russian Edition Spring 2001
which is comparable with Mandrake 8.0 ubt differs in RPM macros used to
build application. You can get whole distribution from
rsync://ftp.altlinux.ru::MandrakeRE/Spring2001/. As for Mandrake 8.0,
there were several people who constantly provided us with RPMs for it
(Yanin-Rolan, I think, and others).

Regarding Spring2001, it worth to look also because it is first highly
secure distribution based on glibc 2.2.2. For example, it first that
completely uses blowfish crypto as system crypto algorithm (for paswords,
etc). Also almost all daemons work in chrooted environment.
