[midgard-user] problem compiling php 4.0.5

maybe someone has an answer:

when I try to compile PHP 4.0.5 from source so that midgard-php4 will work
I get the following error:

"usr/i486-suse-linux/bin/ld: cannot find -lt1
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
make[1]: ***[php] Error 1" ... etc.

Does anyone know which parts of my installation are missing?
