There's no funny Linux release. There's a serious *nix release.

Winzip can handle tarballs, so that's not going to be an issue. But
the bulk of our code is written in C, not PHP. There's nothing (that I
know of) that's strictly tied to unix, but I know it won't be just a
recompile to get it to work on Windows.
