okay, what does locate midgard.so say?
You could be in the situation that midgard.so is not installed in the dir
listed here.
also, it is a possibility to cp midgard.so into the apache/libexec dir
(worked for me!)

I think that function is defined in midgard.so so that might be your
problem.

.14 is a securityrisk consider upgrading to 19.
Also, I suggest using: http://nightlybuilds.midgard-project.org/snapshots/
for sourcefiles.
