You can try to use xsg (in the data directory in the CVS), it exports
sitegroups in separate files.
The export is a little bit more tricky though, cause you have to create
sitegroups (and related data like admingroup and admin user) by hand before
importing.
Sorry I don't have any example, but the xsg.conf file should be self
explanatory.
