I don't think it would be right to always have the person record
right. In mirroring-through-repligard setups this would be a problem,
for instance.
What I do think indeed would be a very good idea is to have an
option to repligard to leave the person fields blank at export, and
not export person records, and figure out a way to determine an
appropriate 'current user' to use for these blank fields at import.
