looks like it cant log into the database -
have you got a file config.pl
Format like this

#XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
$DBNAME="midgardstaging";
$DBUSER="midgard";
$DBPASSWD="XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX";
---------------------------------
where the XXXXXXXXX is the database password
