I haven't answered because up till now I have not had the need for another
export/import than a complete sitegroup. I'll try to give you some
pointers, but I think the better answer will come from Alexander or Alan

Have a look at this last bit of /etc/repligard.conf, as I have it:
<!-- Description of the exportable resources -->
<!--
<replicate all="yes"/>
-->
<!-- replicate section can contain references for additional resource
trees -->
<!-- that should be replicated. In this case attribute 'all' shouldn't
be used -->
<!-- and section itself looks like: -->
<!-- <replicate> -->
<!-- First form: referencing resource by its local ID and type (table
name) from schema file -->
<!--
<resource id="some-local-id-of-resource" type="name-of-resource" />
-->
<!-- Second form: referencing resource by its globally unique ID
(GUID) -->
<!--
<resource guid="some-guid-of-resource" />
-->
<!-- </replicate> -->
</Repligard>
This explains in short the syntax in repligard.conf to be used to define
parts to be exported. In my understanding, repligard will then export all
resources on which the specified resource depends. I vaguely recall some
extra syntax being available to block export of resources that would
normaly be included, but I don't know the details. You can check the
archives for that, or maybe Alexander or Alan can enlighten us more.
