Have you tried a startup (apache)? Are all *.so files ok (ldd mod_modgard.so
..) ? I bet you get something like lib not found and after you solved that
you woll get Symbol __eprinf undef blah..

try "ksh ./configure blah...."

There are some bugs in the old configure (you also better try the cvs
version, the 1.4.1 release is even hard to install under linux).
 
I hope that I can release a Solaris package short after 1.4.2 release. 
(when i get around this f**king preparser shit in php module)
