The only woman I can remember being active in our group was Cat. Haven't heard from her in a long while. > - disadvantage: No personalities by names or further description about > the 'who is who ' The picture wouldn't be a real who's who anyway because a lot of people are missing. I'd be all in favor of a real who's who where people could send in pictures of themselves. > When I came first to the former midgard site I was impressed by two > parts: > 1. I see real possibilities for developing Midgard applications written largely in the embedded scripting language with only the user interface being written in PHP. I think it'll be both easier to maintain and a good bit faster. This is not short-term of course. > first of all the demo server is missing as the ultimate reference for > midgard. Given the current state of our project I would think it'd be best to focus on the OS development. Sorry to be going on about the new developments but one of the goals of the embedded scripting initiative is to make the core more accessable to developers. It'll be lots easier to get involved with core development once most of the magic is moved to the scripts. > - advantage: The documentation is short, still up to date, and gives > compact outlines to midgard > - disadvantage: Many good approaches from the predecessor are missing. > Asgard should be better descripted > > facit: Many first steps after installation but also many features could > not be used without the discussion forum. That is true. Emile --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
