Dear all, Previously on the mailing list, I posted a question regarding having no write-access within Asgard (in SG0). This meant we could not create a sitegroup or a user or a group etc...
This problem was solved and we thought of sharing this in the mailing list. It was not a database access problem but a php4 configuration issue. We were using the optimized "php.ini" that is also provided by the php4 installation package. This php4 configuration caused that some parts of Midgard (seemingly old php3 commands) could not work. After replacing the optimized with the normal version we finally gained write access within Asgard. Thanks to all who provided valuable suggestions. It is very much appreciated. Is this a common problem for all? Nope, there's something wrong. I've seen your other mail and I'll investigate.
