I think you may be seeing the same problem as Tarjei was. Dynamic properties were never totally finished and can cause segfaults under certain circumstances (which I think have to do with the listing objects, but it doesn't seem to be limited to that). You could try the patch I send Tarjei through the mailinglist, or the fix as it is in CVS. I'm not particularly proud to say it, but the fact is we've had a number of serious problems after 1.2.5 and we're now finally at the point whare we see a real decline. Not everything is solved, but it's not as bad as it used to be.
