Seems like you caught me :-) Upgraded PHP to 4.0.6, recompiled 
midgard-php and the example is runnign fine now. Just the 
images are missing, since midgard-data does not contain an 
example directory (as stated in the docs) and I have no idea where 
to put the image files (to be found in the new images directory, as 
it seems) - midgard sites have no document root, eh?

Anyway, I will pull the docs from CVS, change the things I think 
should be updated and submit the changed stuff to you as a 
tarball, okay!?! But this will probably take some days, don't expect 
too much before the end of next week :-)
