Do you have a previous installation of midgard around? Is
midgard/midgard.h in one of the directories as specified by
'midgard-config --cppflags'?

Oh wait, you want to have another fix in midgard-config, I think. Pick
up
http://cvs.midgard-project.org/~checkout~/midgard/lib/midgard-config.in?rev=1.7&content-type=text/plain

put it in the midgard-lib dir and run configure etc again.
