You could always run another apache server, just making sure that it does not use the same IP:port /serverroot as the original.
I had to do that once: 2 apaches on different IP:port numbers /usr/local/apache /usr/local/midgard-apache No problems, but these were not high volume sites so milage may vary. Daniel S.
