Hi there,

I want to use Midgard to host multiple sites that share some content
and php code. Because its a production environment, I need a stable
Midgard/Nadmin combination. So far Midgard/Nadmin looks very
professional to me! Cant find the answers to my questions in the
mailing list so here goes:

So far I installed the (stable) Midgard version 1.4.2.1 and
Nadmin_SNAPSHOT_core. The snapshot worked fine, untill my site-images
werent shown anymore! I already had the problem that I couldnt upload
those, so I put them in my Apache-doc directory, which worked fine for
the moment. Because I need a stable version, I would like to know:

- Which version of Nadmin is stable enough for production (maybe after
  fixing some minor bugs) but not too outdated? I cant choose between:
     * nadmin_core_141.xmlgz (27-jun !!!)
     * nadmin_141_core.xmlgz (in /Nadmin_141_release_for_redhat71)
     * nadmin_core.xmlgz, (10-oct)
     * nadmin20011212_core (12-dec) (not a good choise, I think)
     * Nadmin_SNAPSHOT_core (12 dec)
- How can I uninstall a .xmlgz file? I would like to try files like
  bugs.xmlgz or Nadmin_snapshot_template but only if I can undo all
  changes.
- I read Midgard is being completely rewritten and version 2.0 will be
  released this montht. Will I be able to upgrade from 1.4.2.1 to 2.0
  or is it so much different that I should wait for 2.0?

A lot of questions, but hey, Im new here. Your help will be much
appreciated!!

Thanks,
John

PS: Im using RH 7.1 and just upgraded to MySQL 3.23.46, Apache 1.3.22
and PHP 4.0.6.
