Install the data package. It will only overwrite content that matches
existing GUIDs in the database, in your case, none.

PS: please reply interspersed with the original and quoted text; q-and-a
style messages read a lot easier than a-a-a q-q-q style (with your own
answer on top). I know Netscape and OutLook default to constructing
replies this way; I can only conclude that the MMI experts that came up
with that gem a) got their degree at the Etch-A-Sketch college of fine
arts, and b) don't handle more than a few messages a week. I handle
some 10 messages per hour on an average day. It adds up.

And on that note, snipping away irrelevant text (like the mailinglist info
automatically appended to every message, or text you're not replying to)
cuts down on the non-context data to read. Plus, I'm on a _terribly_
slow line here; every extra line of lint to navigate or clip away adds
considerable time for me to answer the question. Think 300 baud, then
add a bit of pessimism. A keystroke takes from a half a second to up to
30 seconds to register. Which is also the reason my messages have poor
spleling :) lately. I type full paragraphs blind, correcting mistakes
takes too much time.
