May be, but that's not what's happening here. RedHat (and other distros,
BTW) try to do clever stuff in httpd.conf which apxs is not designed to
handle.

For nadmin? Possibly. I recall something about them, but haven't enabled
them myself.

Hardly anyone uses oldadmin. I use it, hence the 'hardly'. You kan keep
it or ditch it.

You can, but you'll always be fixing httpd.conf after apache module
