The row hilighting is the selection: there is one color for the object currently selected, another color for it's attributes and the third color for it's child objects (the two last colors are pure cosmetics, to better visualize the object and its dependants). To copy, say, a page to another page, you have to hilight (select) the source, then to click on the copy icon of the target page. Same goes with the move feature, although it may not work well with every kind of object.
