I have been working on installing Midgard on OSX for what seems like years, no months (people keep bothering me...) and a this point I think looking at Fink for OSX is the best idea...
<background> Fink is a package management system for OSX which seems to use Debian packages, (package management is my one big gripe with OSX...it is non-existant) Fink keeps everything in a dir called /sw and seems to facilitate the systems access to that stuff. There is a huge db of available packages and I was pretty sure I saw gtk+ on the list...it would seem reasonable to do a Midgard release if we are doing debian packages though I haven't seen a big killer package since 1.2.5 or so..fink is available from sourceforge </background> so far I have just finished working out the dependencies for Midgard as well as MySQL...everything seems good except I mucked up MySQL trying to copy dbs from an existing Midgard install.... kp > Yes, we knew it was coming, I have 2 web developers that do all their stuff on > OS X. Is there a GTK+ port for OS X? --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
