And on sunday I saw Sterling Hughes and Derick
Rethans, with a story on the future of php.  See the
presentation at

Most remarkable promises were better OO support, and
SRM.  Emiliano mentioned SRM already
(http://www.vl-srm.net/) but it was only yesterday I
understood this was the equivalent for php of what
Entreprise Java Beans (here they're called "banana's"
are to JSP.  Meaning this is a way to create php
objects that live longer than the lifetime of the
parsing of a single php file.
