man strtok_r says that there is no entry for strtok_r  I looked on the fink
list and it does not appear to be something I can install as a package. I
sort of gleen from the google entries that it is a linux specific lib? Most
references also mention it as an i386 association...?

I am going to have to read this and see what makes sense...at first glance

 It doesn't seem to be too bad...I will ask pointed questions, the guy who
does it runs it as a web/file server so isn't mucking about in apps that
require gui support...

It came with 128mb....they will buy me a fast box but I have to sneak RAM in
on my univ credit card....that is how I built our first Midgard server,
spare parts, bought one at a time to sneak it by the IT police....
