i though about it , but I need now at least 4-5 different thumbnails
for every image, I do not know how it will look after couple of months
but I do not want to have plenty attachments per object.
Besides manipulating with images is really very fast.

I tried with this function but I had errors from ImageCreateFromJpeg function.
Of course attachment was jpeg file,. And as for now it works only with 
opening image from url.
