I have the same problem as you when creating a new company. My guess is
that sth is wrong with the existing template(style). I just created a
company using Blank Page. You can always come back to update the settings
for an existing company later. I did not encounter problems in updating
situation.
I'm using Midgard1.4.3 and Nadmin M5 on Linux,
Good Luck!

Subject: [midgard-user] help: Midgard+Nadmin Studio
Security Level:? Internal
Hi to all,
I've got two strange problems in using midgard+nadmin studio.
Because I was aguing that my problems were related to non compatible
Midgard and Nadmin configurations I tried various combinations of midgard
and
nadmin versions.
Because these two problems however arise whatever midgard and nadmin
studio versions
I'm using, my guess is that the problems lies elsewhere.
Both problems are related with the creation of a new Company in Nadmin
Studio.
1. WhenI try to create a new company using the website template Linux
Center
Demonstration Template I'm getting these errors
Warning: Wrong parameter count for mgd_copy_style() in ROOT(899) : eval
()'d code(441) : eval()'d code on line 148
Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in ROOT(899) : eval
()'d code(441) : eval()'d code on line 12
Please note that the second error is because the function mgd_get_style
()gives back
false rather than a valid object. All is going okif I choose the Blank
Page.
2. Company Database creation
In this case the creation of a new mysql user fails and GRANT complains
that the username
istoo long. In fact it is longer than 16 characters ?
This is the datail
The host or user argument to GRANT is too long
Warning: Access denied for user: '1a3JWGISaQzToQeijCI99U8ANd9WV@localhost'
(Using password: YES) in ROOT(797) : eval()'d code on line 87
Now I know that MySQL usernames are up to 16 chars, but I don't know
whether this is
a mysql configurable parameter. Could the problem be caused by some module
that I'm
missing in my installation ?
Apart from these two situations, all the rest seems working fine.
Please notice that:
- I'm running the version 1.4.3 of midgard
- I applied to midgard the nadmin-related patches download from
midgard-project.
The application of patches access.c.diff and person.c.diff however
failed.
- I installed the core and the template xmlgz files through repligard.
I've also installed
fimages under htdocs dir. All this stuff comes from
 http://cms.polarmedia.no/midgard/M5-latest-ever/
- I've also installed two additional modules: NemeinAuthentication and
NemeinRCS.
During the whole installation procedure I haven't got particular problems.
Could anyone help me to fix these issues.
Thanks in advance
P.S. I'm running SuSE 7.2 on my machine. The PHP version is 4.1.1
