Hi there I have downloaded all the files and am trying to firstly install the libraries: am using 1.4.3
On doing ./configure here is the error message returned: checking for glib-config... /root/midgard-lib-1.4.3/pkgconfig- 0.12.0/glib-1.2.8/glib-config checking for library containing crypt... no configure: error: You need libcrypt Here is the result on a search for libcrypt on the box: [root@anfield root]# locate libcrypt /usr/lib/libcrypto.so.0 /usr/lib/libcrypto.so.0.9.6 /usr/lib/libcrypt.a /usr/lib/libcrypt.so /usr/lib/libcrypto.so /lib/libcrypt-2.2.4.so /lib/libcrypt.so.1 I have tried added these libcrypt paths in the roots .bashrc Could anyone suggest what the best thing would be to try here please I have installed glib-2.0.4, and the dependency pkgconfig-0.12.0 to get glib working correctly.
