Hello!

What kind of an install do you have ?
Have you installed Midgard from sources or from
Nadmin Studio rpms ?

In order for this to work you obviously need two separate
databases. ;) Nadmin Studio rpms generate midgardstaging
and midgardlive. If you've installed Midgard from sources
you probably have only one database (by default named midgard).

I've only done one database installations from the sources.
If someone has done repligated environment on single
machine using sources, instructions would be nice. :)
