Nice. Just three things came into my mind.
"Now you'll have it installed and can run it from the service
manager. Off course this only applies to Windows NT, 2000 and
XP. Users of Win9x/Me will have to run it manually :-("
I don't think this is true. You can use the task planer (hope it's
called this way in english) or you can add an entry to the registry
(IIRC under .../Windows/RunServices but I don't know the exact location
by heart).
I did not quite understand the "Midgard Lite :: Virtual host directory
structure" chapter but that could be just me.
Maybe you should talk a little about security:
