OK. It is possible that I simply have a bad combination of
libraries. I suspect the curl library is causing most of
my save commands not getting through, for example. Moving
to XML-RPC or SOAP would probably make the communications part
smoother, though.


Anyway, other wishlist items I have would be:

  * Make Midgard functions accept both IDs and GUIDs as
    arguments (and possibly move the GUIDs to the parent
    objects' tables to make this faster)
    -> this would enable slowly phasing the IDs out
       completely

  * Integrate Daniel's Windows patches when they are
    finished (does Daniel have CVS access?)

  * Integrate Nadmin Studio event listing patches

  * Matthias Englert's idea of integrated revision control
    would definitely be cool but I guess this is still
    far in the future

  * Move MidCOM into Midgard core when it stabilizes

This would definitely be interesting. However, I think we'll
be busy moving all our own stuff to MidCOM for the near future.
