Thank you for your help! before i created the company database, i tried to get the forum running by creating a database with the informations i found in the snippets. this "worked" so far except i couldn't administer the forum out of nadmin because it doesn't know anything from my database. i inserted the required variables in a snippet (dbsetup i think) and it worked a little bit more but not completly.
the reason for this odyssey is, that i didn't found any hint in the documentation, that there exists a company database and that it contains the databases for the member and forum function. after creating the company database i changed all altered snippets back to their first revision - but the error message was still there. So i had to build the midgard database completly new. Now everything works properly. > > that is easy output started at ROOT:19) in ROOT(19) : eval()'d code(46) : eval()'d code on line 289 indeed? i also tried to find out, what this error message means, but i found no information. perhaps it is a good idea to explain this in a separate toppic! > 19 line in ROOT and 46 line of all code > The problem is when you have > " in Root on line 489 " > and Root has two elements included and elements has snippets etc....... ... i don't understand a word!
