For a complex business-oriented website you *need* som kind of tool to keep bits and pieces together. At our company we need to access Oracle, MySQL, SMS messages etc "on the fly"! Then, the only tool I can think of in that situation, is Midgard! OK, it took me two weeks to understand... I'm a "power user" - not a developer. If your objective is big enough - give it some time.
