No, I used Mozilla on the server itself. But did not reopen it after adding FQDN to apache & midgard configuration. That was just a user mistake. You may write an installation howto just for Aegir (not nadmin) because Aegir seems to redirect always back to the login screen when you don't use FQDN in apache and midgard configuration. Nadmin does not. Aeger even does not work with all entries set to localhost.
