There isn't a working version of Midgard for Postgres at
the moment.
Of course, contributions towards that end are welcome.
In the meantime, you could check out the Rexgard implementation
of Midgard which is database independent:
http://www.rexgard.org
It is not out yet, but you could ask for the packages from
the guys at Netrex.
