Both of those features won't make it into 1.4.4. 1.4.4 is nearly
finished, and for myself I have already declared a feature freeze. Any
new additions will go into the next major version, 1.5.0.

Can we look forward to official patches from the website then.
My attempt to patch the ldap stuff into 1.4.3 failed miserably, probably
because I did not know what I was doing.
Anyone with a ldap patched version of 1.4.3 they want to let me have?
