[midgard-user] alternatives to touchfiles in midgard-lite (and nadmin)

as part of a little work I'm doing here (looking at mysql in far too much detail..), I discovered this as a viable alternative to the touchfiles in midgard-lite and nadmin

(they both use touchfiles to do various simple caching on database changes..)

SHOW TABLE STATUS FROM 'midgard';

the column update_time may be usefull for doing the cache checking.... (For things like template caching etc.....)
