As Henri Bergius is now at OSCOM's board and the policy doesn't allow members to have a talk about CM they are representing, we need to find another one
representative to replace him in Midgard/Aegir talk which Henri supposed
to present.
My presentation will be focused on DublinCore metadata, and its integration with CMSs, with references to practical implementations and lessons learned.
Projects:
- TKI <http://www.tki.org.nz/> a website funded by NZ's Ministry of Eduication, which is a pioneer in public DC metadata repositories. For that project, we have implemented custom metadata search and editors. Heaps of DC and CVS and user education as "the CMS".
- The NZ egovernment website is another project where I lead the CWA team (as one of two teams involved). There we integrated Midgard with a DC metadata search system plus a lot of DC-based content management that is done outside of midgard.
- Several minor projects were we have integrated Midgard with DC metadata, and supplied one or more DC search systems.
So far, the presentations submitted seem to be lacking in the DC field. So there I go... ;)
